He's outta here...

Harry Kalas, broadcaster for the Philadelphia Phillies, passed away today.  Harry has been the voice of the Phillies for as long as I've watched and listened to Philadelphia baseball, and long before that.  His is a voice that I will forever associate with the game and the team that I love to root for.  And every time I re-watch the last out of the 2008 World Series (I have it saved on TiVo) I will be glad that it is Harry's voice saying...

"STRIKE THREE!!  The Philadelphia Phillies are 2008 wooooooorld champions of baseball!!!........."

Harry:

You were a "class act". Philadelphia Phillies baseball will never be the same without you!!

Sadly missed.

He will absolutely be missed. Watching the Phils won't be the same without him. Just glad we can relive the last out of the World Series with his voice
