When you see Ryan Howard striking this pose you know that he just belted a homerun.

And good news for Philadelphia: he posed twice last night. Add to that homeruns by Chase Utley, Jayson Werth, and yes, Joe Blanton and it all adds up to a huge 10-2 win for the Phils.
Wow.
Throughout the playoffs and World Series I've been holding on to a healthy dose of doubt. I mean this is Philadephia, you have to expect that eventually the other shoe will drop and the dream will be over. But let me put this out there: thats not going to happen. Last night when Blanton homered my perspective changed. They are going to win. We've got one game left to play but I'm already wondering what day the parade will be.
One more win.

Please forgive me for my doubt. I too have fretted and prepared for a big loss and let down. yes, being a philly fan for many years you know that it's coming. the losses, that is. bottom line - we've earned it. we deserve it. we're gonna get it. TB has NOT put the time, tears and yes, blood into this Title. We, my friends, have. So there. Start making your floats...the parade is near!
You got that right Lisa. Broad Street here we come!
Seriously, i wish there was a way for us to get up there. sigh...i don't see how we could. but a girl can dream right?
Lisa, stop talking about it and start driving!! you might just make it in time.
Howard is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm seriously thinking about it! Shawn says he DEFINITELY can't go. it'd be beyond irresponsible w/ work and all. he's up to his eyeballs and having issues to boot. sigh...i don't know if i'm brave enough to take the boys to the parade by myself. the drunks, the looters, the drunks, the looters...
rob and jen...sorry i forgot i was on YOUR blog. didn't mean to air out my travel issues here. thot i was on jay's or mine...oops.
