Christmas 2009 Picture Bonanza Volume 3: The Finale

Well, I figure after the first or second week of January no one is going to want to look at Christmas pictures anymore, so I'm trying to get this last bunch in just under the wire.

One of our annual Christmas traditions is to get together with the extended Jones family. In recent years, this has taken place more often then not at the Jones outpost in State College Pennsylvania. Its quite the gathering, as you'll see, with contingents arriving from Colorado, Massachusetts, and this year even Uganda!

Its always a fun time together, and this year it was made even better by the newest generation of cute kiddos that provided endless entertainment and ample photo opportunities.

Christmas 2009 Picture Bonanza Volume 2: Christmas Day

Our Christmas day was a busy one this year (is it ever not?)  But what made this year's especially notable is that in addition to our own quiet family celebration here at the house on Christmas morning, Jen also hosted most of the Weidner side of the family for Christmas dinner in the afternoon.  Despite being a full day, it was a good one.  And we were glad to be able to have Mom and Dad Weidner along with Grammy, Pop-Pop, Leanne and Darren celebrate with us.

Our Christmas Eve this year was set aside to celebrate with the Jones side of the family.  Thankfully Gwyn has been home recently from Uganda visiting for the holidays- so she joined us and Mom and Dad Jones, and Bethany and Aaron for a day filled with tasty food and gifts (and even some sledding.)  With this many pictures, and with so many more to come, I'll leave them for you to decipher.  Who is in them? A Seasons Greetings

Hi folks,

I don't know about you all, but its been quite a whirlwind for our family these last few days.   Between presents, and food, and church, and food, and time spent with both families, and so much food it has been difficult to take a moment to simply catch our breath and look around.  

Well, thankfully on this (appropriately dreary) day after Christmas there is finally time to stop and realize how blessed we have been these last few days and throughout this year of 2009.  We feel so fortunate to be able spend time with our families, and for the memories that we made with them and with Aiden this year.

We hope that everyone out there has enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, similar blessings throughout the rest of the holiday season.  Merry Christmas!
