Thanks to the UPS man for delivering the first great toy of this year's Christmas season: cardboard boxes. I suppose it's a good thing that the boxes on delivery actually contained items that we'd ordered as Christmas gifts, but at least for now, the cargo is secondary to the packaging. This is how Aiden and I spent the majority of our morning after these boxes arrived, and I'm not sure who had more fun.
In Thanksgiving-related news: I am thankful that my child is a boy because it gives me a good excuse to do things (like build large hot-wheels tracks out of cardboard boxes) which, lets be honest, I would want to do anyway.

Hi Aiden:
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
The pictures your daddy took of the runway and boxes remind me of what my brother and I used to do with boxes when we were kids.
Boxes can become anything from an airplane to a spaceship or even boat.
Have fun as long as mom tolerates the boxes in the living room.
Love Ya,
Pop POp
