Well, this post seems long overdue. Better late then never though!
Last weekend was a special one in that we had the opportunity to go on a nice Jones/Weidner/Arnold family mini-vacation to the Willow Valley resort in Lancaster, PA. Willow Valley, as I mentioned in a previous post, looms large in the childhood memories of Jen and is a place that we hope to take Aiden back to many times in the years to come.
If you've had the Willow Valley "experience" (I'm looking at you Weidner and Mcnally families) then you pretty much know the deal: eat, swim, relax, repeat. And so it went on this visit. Aiden has enjoyed his pool experiences in the past, and this time was no different (even though all he wanted to do was to be held and "Kick!")
After Aiden's bed time we even got to enjoy some time in the pool with Aaron and Bethany, where we played the "movie game." (If you don't know what the movie game is, sorry, you'll just have to come on a future Willow Valley trip and find out.) As you'll soon see, every last picture that we have from this weekend was taken in or around the pool. Surprise, surprise. I guess we were too busy licking our plates at the buffet, or staring glassy eyed at the Olympic coverage to lift a camera any other time...
Oh well!

I love Jen's (and Aiden's) face in the 2nd picture.
it's bc all he wanted to do was splash and it was basically impossible to take a good pic with water in your face :-)

wow, memories come flooding back. do they still have that room upstairs where you guys played games?? I doubt it....
i can picture jay and richie up there like it was yesterday...

Game Room is till the same execpt they have added a few more video games.
In fact everything will be the same after the renovations except the large pool and exercise room will be upgraded. There will be a new restaurant and lobby in the Double Tree hotel (which was the Palm Court area)
RA and I had a great time with the Jones family and Rob,Jen and Aiden.
Aiden really enjoyed running up and down the long hallways and splashing in the pool.
